The Warden’s Trust Centre centres around the Main hall, surrounding the hall are various accommodation options:


Pitches are in the grounds of the Centre. A barbeque/picnic area is provided with seats and tables, and a water standpipe and electric floodlighting make this an ideal campsite amidst mature trees and shrubs. You can bring your own equipment or hire from our range of camping gear.

The Avocet

The Avocet is ideal for a disabled person and carer or a family.  The Avocet was refurbished to the highest standard in 2016.  It includes:

  • A living room/kitchen containing: electric fires, wood burner, settee and easy chairs, plus a TV. There is a dining table and chairs, cooker, kettle, microwave, fridge, pans, utensils, and crockery.
  • One bedroom with one double bed, one electronic single bed with full disabled access. Bed linen is provided. An electric hoist is also available.
  • A bathroom with a new walk-in shower designed to accommodate a wheelchair, as well as a high level toilet and an electric bath hoist.

Robert Orme Centre

Built in 2005 this accommodation unit houses four triple bedded rooms with wash hand basins and heaters. There is an adjoining room for up to 40 people, which has audio-visual facilities including a computer and data projector, and tea and coffee making facilities, making it a perfect meeting room. Large glass doors lead out onto the cliff top and a shaded garden with fantastic sea views. Purpose built toilets and shower rooms have also been constructed in the Robert Orme Centre to provide ease of access for wheelchair users. Your stay in the Robert Orme Centre allows you inclusive use of the Main Hall and meeting rooms.
