The Centre is located in a beautiful spot on the Suffolk coast, perfect for relaxing in peace or exploring the great outdoors.

Main Hall

The Main Hall provides a bright indoor space that’s 150m long. The three large windows give extensive views of the recreational areas. The building has been fully renovated and now boasts new roof lights and flooring. There is seating for up to 150 people as well as a kitchen and specially designed toilets and showers for people with disabilities. It contains a range of indoor games, a library, seating area, T.V., and piano.

There are six designated walks nearby, with one wheelchair-friendly trail in the immediate vicinity. The Warden’s Trust Centre also has direct access to the Suffolk Coast Path, foreshore and private land, paths and bridleways. This Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is very popular with walkers and has spectacular scenery whatever the season.

The Beach

The shingle beach is constantly changing, sometimes building, sometimes eroding. Whilst the beach is mainly shingle there are patches of sand and it never stops our guests from having fun! The beach is accessed by a sandy path, which heads down 50m through the dunes.

We also have a wide range of indoor games available; snooker, table tennis, darts and indoor bowls are just some of the activities provided.Adventure course
There is an obstacle course on site with climbing and ropework to suit all abilities.

Our Campfire area has seating for 30 people in a secluded, sheltered spot 30m from the Main Hall. There is also a barbecue area adjoining the Main Hall.
We have supervised access to 2000 acres of private farmland and the beach.
